Audubon has a long history of conservation in Florida. The year 2000 heralded Audubon's centennial year, and we continue to be dedicated to protecting and restoring Florida's natural areas. Ensuring that conservation becomes a common interest in Florida rather than continuing as a special interest, National Audubon Society and Florida Audubon Society have formed a strategic alliance in partnership with 43 local Audubon chapters, becoming Audubon of Florida.
