I started my business as a gift-giving hobby. I painted wooden clocks and gave them as baby shower gifts for my friends' nursery. The clocks were painted to match the wall border in their baby's nursery and would sit nicely on a drawer chest or shelf. I knew I was giving a special gift every time I saw the expression on my friend's face. I could see that this custom decorated clock was very much appreciated and above all, coordinated just perfect with the room. At this point, I knew I was getting into something that could possibly work. From that moment on, word of mouth led me to receive several requests from friends to create a custom decorated clock so they could also give as a special baby shower gift.It was finally my turn to decorate my daughter's room and I chose the theme of Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit. I experimented with several wooden accessories and took images from the wallborder and several other books and calendars and created several beautiful pieces for her. Among th
