Dr. Edward Boshnick, Miami

Dr. Boshnick received his B.A. degree from the University of Miami in 1964 and his doctorate in Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 1968. He then went on to serve as a Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps from 1968 to 1970 where he was made chief of the Optometry clinic at the Hunter Army Airfield. Dr. Boshnick is a member of the American Optometric Association, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and a Fellow of the International Orthokeratology Section of the National Eye Research Foundation. In 1994, Dr. Boshnick was awarded the George N. Jessen Award during the National Eye Research Foundation's 39th Annual Post-Graduate Congress in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Boshnick has been in private practice at the same location in Miami, Florida specializing in contact lens care, children's vision, orthokeratology and vision care for the partially sighted (low vision).
