Legendary Airliners, LLC, Miami

This is Legendary Airliners current restoration project. This former Eastern Airlines Airliner was part of the famous “The Great Silver Fleet” and was named “The Golden Falcon”. It was delivered to Eastern Airlines on January 23, 1958. It flew as a passenger aircraft for approximately 8 years before giving way to the more efficient jets. The aircraft traded hands numerous times until purchased by Legendary Airliners, LLC in November of 2003 from Joe Kocour of 20th Century Air Travel whom owned it since 1972. It is currently based in St. Paul, Minnesota. The initial restoration for ferry will begin in May/June of 2004. The Legendary Airliners restoration-team expects 2-3 months of work before ferrying the aircraft to Florida for the full restoration. We expect the full restoration, passenger interior and exterior, to be complete by the spring of 2005 and have the origin
