Much has been said about "lo cubano" (that which is Cuban). To us, "lo cubano" is a state of mind. You may be able to experience it walking down the streets of Havana; talking to a guy named "Maikel" at a bar in Madrid or even while getting a ride on a camel to the pyramids in Egypt with a certain guide, as it has been rumored. Go to the Versailles Restaurant (which is in Miami, not in France) and you will certainly experience it. "Lo cubano" exists because of the men and women of Cuba. You run into their footsteps...and there you are, exposed to that "inmense party of the soul". It's in their language, their music, their dance and their art.Our mission is to let you experience "lo cubano" through the works of some of the most talented contemporary cuban painters, who share, wherever they may be, that rich and unique spirit that defines their lives, their hopes and their dreams.
